I am a writer and film director interested in our relationships with the non-human world, myth-making dynamics, cultural evolution, and the ineffable. I write about these topics in my newsletter, Substrata.
My feature screenplay The Lives of the Saints was a finalist for placement in the 2026 Sundance Feature Development Track and a Second-Round Selection in the International Screenwriters' Association's 2026 Fast-Track Fellowship. My latest short film An Unknown, Mysterious Happiness was an Official Selection for the Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying 2026 LA Shorts International Film Festival.
Other directorial work of mine has been supported by the Montoni Film Catalyst Fund and recognized by Experimental Forum 2025, as well as by the Blow-Up Chicago, Sipontum International, and Eutopia Arthouse Film Festivals.
